Mint’s Peter Clements wins Residential Salesperson of the Year for the second year in a row

Respected body, REIWA (The Real Estate Institute of Western Australia), held their annual real estate awards this week, where the best in the business are recognised for their positive contribution to the industry within the state.
The property market has been particularly challenging over the last 12 months and these awards were focused on both individuals and agencies who were making a real difference for the better for everyone.
We are proud to say that Mint Real Estate was again a finalist in Small Agency Of The Year, having won the category of both in 2016 and 2017, however it was our principal, Peter Clements, who took out the award for Residential Salesperson of the Year 2018.
The “why” behind the win
While we are super excited for this win, this is an important opportunity to bring to light the real significance behind this award and what goes into achieving it.
This title is not given to agents who simply have the best sales numbers. The category takes into consideration how they have helped make a positive difference for everyone involved in the buying and selling process.
It’s people who are at the heart of real estate, and this award is about recognising how an agent is providing outstanding leadership and guidance toward improving their experience.
How Peter Clements won
Peter is a real advocate for the Australian real estate industry and passionate about achieving better outcomes for buyers, sellers, agents and the community as a whole.
He understands that property is one of the most significant assets people own, and yet, how agents are so distrusted by the public. Peter strives to restore Australia’s faith in the service that real estate agents provide, which is why he created his revolutionary selling process, called Openn Negotiation.
With Openn and a lot of hard work, he has gained back some much-needed assurance from buyers and sellers by offering complete transparency in the process from start to finish.
By allowing all potential buyers to see the value other people are placing on a property, it gives them a greater confidence to act, removing any uncertainty when it came to price, while encouraging fair and healthy competition. Sellers can also watch the process unfold the whole time and feel more in control.
Using Open Negotiation, 100% of Peter’s sales this year sold for more than the initial offered price and has begun to restore people’s faith in real estate agents, given all of the positive feedback he has received.
